Olena Tregub

Executive Director of NAKO (Independent Anti-Corruption Commission)

She serves on the Anti-Corruption Council of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, sits on the board of Hromadske, and is part of the steering committee for the B4Ukraine coalition.

Since 2022, under her leadership, NAKO has spearheaded efforts to block the supply of Western components to authoritarian regimes like Russia, Iran, and North Korea, working to strengthen export controls and sanction policies. Prior to NAKO, Olena was a director at Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, managing a portfolio of international development projects totalling over $12 billion.

After a decade in the United States, she returned to Ukraine post-Euromaidan to support the country’s democratic reforms. Olena holds a degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
