Rita Ruduša
Media expert
Rita Ruduša, a Latvian former public media executive, has a distinguished career in public broadcasting and media development. She founded and led the Baltic Centre for Media Excellence as its first executive director and has driven numerous international media development initiatives. Active in public diplomacy, she represented Latvia at UNESCO’s International Programme for the Development of Communication (2021–2024). With extensive experience training media professionals across the Baltics, Eastern Partnership countries, and North Africa, Rita specializes in media literacy, ethics, and fundraising. She has taught fundraising at Kyiv Media School, among other institutions.
Rita has authored two books and scripted creative documentaries, with her first feature-length film, Homo Sovieticus, premiering in 2021. Her latest project, The Blessed Ones, is currently in production.
